Joining the wave of light for Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Day

I am 1 in 6 who suffers from infertility.

I am now 1 in 4 who suffers from pregnancy loss.

Each day my heart slowly becomes whole again, but I know there will always be a tiny hole that represents this missing piece of me: my angel baby.

I carried her in my body for a 7 weeks, 1 day, but I will carry her memory with me forever.

Tonight, I light my candles with love and light in honour of each and every baby that left us too soon, each and every parent who grieved in silence or out loud, each and every broken heart.

  1. Your words and actions are beautiful “Tonight, I light my candles with love and light in honour of each and every baby that left us too soon, each and every parent who grieved in silence or out loud, each and every broken heart.”
Wishing you continued physical and emotional recovery. And, I agree, there will always be a hole, a tiny piece missing. I think honouring and remember is so important. Thank you for sharing.

  2. The Zoe Clark-Gates quote made me cry!

It’s such a simple and beautiful thing we can share, lighting a candle for our lost little ones. Showing our love and support for each other.

It’s been almost 2 years since my loss, but I still feel it every day. Thinking of you as you go through your healing process… Sending you so much love xxx

  3. We lost our first pregnancy this year @ 5weeks, on my 30th birthday. It was so hard. Even though we are expecting now, I’ll never forget our loss, ever. Thanks for the reminder that its important to talk about this. I keep thinking about you!

  4. I’m so, so sorry for your loss. We too have fertility problems then I had an ectopic pregnancy as well and was due in May also. It is so very heartbreaking, I still can’t fully believe it. I hope you have recovered well physically, and I guess the emotional side will follow. Your quote is lovely, take care x
